Program Description
The Computing Science minor provides students with a foundation in software development, data management, and modern computing technologies. Designed for students in other majors, the minor introduces core computing concepts and hands-on development and expand their knowledge through electives in areas such as artificial intelligence, networking, data structures, algorithms, web and mobile application development, data mining, and software engineering. The curriculum emphasizes practical problem-solving and the application of computing techniques to real-world challenges.
Upon completion, students will be able to design and implement software solutions, manage and analyze data, and effectively collaborate with technical teams, enhancing their ability to integrate computing into their primary field of study.
