Prerequisite Requirements
Traditional BSN Program
The Traditional BSN Program is a 28-month curriculum plan that begins in August or January of each year and ends in December or May. Traditional Program admission requirements include a minimum cumulative GPA of a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, completion of all non-nursing required courses (i.e. JU Core Curriculum*) or transfer with an AA, or other Associate degree (must satisfy JU’s Articulation Agreement), or BA or BS degree from a regionally-accredited institution.

Important Notes
Students may begin NUR courses with up to two outstanding university core courses, but all core courses must be completed before starting second-semester junior-level NUR courses.
Prerequisite courses must be completed prior to enrollment in nursing courses.
CHEM 101 must include a lab component.
