Program Description
An Applied Economics minor provides students with practical tools for analyzing real-world economic issues and making evidence-based decisions. Through courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and applied data analysis, students learn how economic principles shape markets, public policy, and organizational decision-making. The minor complements a wide range of majors by strengthening students’ quantitative reasoning and their ability to interpret economic trends affecting business, government, and society.
