Program Description

The Community Service Learning Minor is a 15 credit-hour, interdisciplinary program to prepare students who seek career paths in community, nonprofit, or educational organizations. The Community Service Learning Minor prepares students with an understanding of community concerns and the individual’s role in enacting change. The minor is designed around two required courses; one to introduce students to civic engagement and a capstone to demonstrate knowledge and skill application. The minor also immerses students in service-learning coursework with community organizations across the college experience.
