Program Description
The Population Health Minor is a 15 credit-hour, interdisciplinary program to prepare any student who seeks to complement their major studies to learn to apply introductory-level population health concepts and methodology. The Population Health Minor prepares students with an understanding of social and political determinates of health. The minor engages students to gain knowledge for identifying effective avenues for disease prevention, health promotion, diagnosis, and interventions. The minor is designed around four required course and one elective.
