Minor in Marine Science

The Marine Science minor consists of 20 credit hours of coursework that introduce students to foundational topics through MSC 111 Introduction to Oceanography and MSC 113 Introduction to Marine Biology, along with their associated laboratory courses (MSC 112 and MSC 114). Students complete the minor by selecting either MSC 306 Marine Geology or MSC 310WR Marine Ecology and approved 300 or 400 level marine science laboratory coursework. This sequence emphasizes hands on learning and advanced study in Marine Science.
