MGT 587 -Topic needs approval of the DCOB Director of Graduate Programs

DSIM 535, ECON 520, and FIN 534 are not required for the Healthcare Management Concentration.

Healthcare Management Concentration Foundation Courses Prerequisites

These courses are required for candidates who do not have a bachelor's degree in business or who lack basic knowledge in the following disciplines:

ACCT 509	Essentials of Accounting	3
DSIM 509	Essentials of Quantitative Methods	3
ECON 509	Essentials of Economics	3
FIN 509	Essentials of Finance	3
Total Credit Hours:		12

Portfolio Management

Students in this concentration must take the following three courses for a total of nine credit hours:

FIN 610	Practicum in Portfolio Management	3
FIN 611	Advanced Portfolio Theory & Practice	3
FIN 612	Investment Management	3
Total Credit Hours:		9

NOTE: Students pursuing the Portfolio Management concentration who also wish to pursue the Accounting and Finance concentration may not “double count” FIN 610.
